Mobile sensing to suggest customized tours to visitors in museums

Abstract

Recently, the scientific community has shown a remarkable interest in the mobile sensor networks and in the application of this kind of networks to museums. In our work we use mobile sensor networks to improve the tour quality of a visitor of a museum. In particular, we provide an algorithm that recompute dynamically the best tour for a specific visitor on the basis of his physical reactions induced by each artwork. We originally use MDCs to acquire these reactions.
