Abstract / Description of output

This is part of the new International Palestrina Edition. There are two volumes which include facsimiles of all surviving sources, a semi-diplomatic edition and an edition of thirteen pieces for triple choir. This is the first edition of this music by this major composer to have seen all surviving sources and to be done in accordance with rigorous modern editorial standards. It includes a substantial introduction, notes on sources and a critical commentary.
