Oily Stories and Troubled Sites

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract / Description of output

Oily Stories, as part of my ongoing research on Decolonizing Infrastructures, is an artistic research project situated in ecologies formed by oil in the Iranian context that experiments with decolonizing ways of storytelling. In the manner of oil, oily stories are leaked, spill out of the petroleum infrastructures, flow over boundaries, and pollute the grand narratives, “white geology”, and subjugating forces.
