On the very idea of an elite conceptual scheme

The idea of eliteness is usually defined in terms of various theoretical roles that have their home in metasemantics (reference eligibility), metaphysics (objective similarity), metametaphysics (epistemic value), and epistemology (projectibility). What guarantees that these roles converge on one and the same posit? We provide a characterization of
elite representation (in terms of “more truth”) and use this characterization to explain how one and the same thing can play each theoretical role.
