Abstract / Description of output

A solo photographic exhibition (28 pieces) at the Daiwa Japanese Foundation London. The work was undertaken in Japan at a variety of Buddhist Temple sites in Kyoto and reflects my ongoing interest in resonances to be found between ancient Eastern and contemporary Western thinking. A signal aim of the project is to fuse elements of Eastern philosophy eg non-duality with strategies of presentation more commonly found in Western contemporary art such as seriality and typology.
The exhibition was accompanied by a public lecture delivered by myself.
