Abstract

The synthesis and crystal structure of new deca- and octanuclear cages featuring the ligands 6-methyl-2-pyridonate and trimethylacetate (O2CCMe3) have been determined; the structures involve polyhedra based on a tetraicosahedron and a cube respectively.
