Abstract

A series graphic scores were made in response to music recorded by Raymond MacDonald and Marilyn Crispell. The scores replace conventional musical notation with abstract images. The scores are then animated to create short films with the music tracks. The animations serve as a way of testing the efficacy of the visual interpretation of the music as well as being works of art in their own right.
