Ian Campbell

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract / Description of output

The chapter argues that the 12th-century plan of the burgh of St Andrews was deliberately modelled on that of the Vatican Borgo, because of the claims of the bishops of St Andrews to have relics of the brother of St Peter. It argues that Compostela is similarly planned.
