Abstract / Description of output

Moving Images Cinema Caravan is a self contained cinema traveling around the South of Scotland and beyond screening cutting edge, non-mainstream films to rural and urban communities, schools, youth groups and festivals.

The short film 'an exercise in solitude' was one of three invited films to be screened by Moving Images Cinema Caravan, as part of the Plenty? More festival, held at The Barn, Banchory, Scotland from 22-23 October 2022.

Moving Images presented three short films that explore ideas of Plenty? More and Less from Sea Weed harvesting in northern Scotland; questions and thoughts about solitude to pulsating rhythms and Ukrainian rituals to remedy ecological anxieties.
