Abstract
When veterinarians at the University of Glasgow investigated a dog which had presented with a cutaneous growth and chronic osteoarthritis, a finding of significant pulmonary pathology was surprising. The dog was found to have pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis, an uncommon but undoubtedly under-diagnosed condition.
