Drawing Room Confessions is made of words, no images. Each issue is dedicated to one artist, who is invited to play the serious and playful game of conversation. Each section follows a set of rules, only the players change. Drawing Room Confessions asks interviewers from a wide range of fields to contribute to a portrait of the artist at a certain time. Each interviews is completed by footnotes (written by the editors) which will comment, explain or redirect the reader. Drawing Room Confessions invites the artist to engage in conversations with people who come from different disciplines and points of view.

Drawing Room Confessions is developed through a fixed structure of conversations, a time line called for the Time Being, a questionnaire and a small intervention in the form of an ekphrasis
