Abstract
A solo exhibition of a single work in Gallery Malmo's walk-in freezer/white cube gallery space in Edinburgh.
"Gallery Malmo presents Shelfstackers, an exhibition of new work by Keith Farquhar, the latest in Malmo’s white cube walk-in freezer.
Over the past months Farquhar has returned to working with found clothes, a practice he first engaged with in the early 2000s, creating a body of figurative work referred to then as Bastards.
These new works are less planned; the clothes not so specifically chosen and the
compositions improvised. Creating imagery from the poorest materials available,
Shelfstackers is composed of discarded supermarket uniforms. Co-workers."
Gallery Malmo is a non-profit space/programme in Edinburgh run my ECA alumni - Gregor Horne and Theo Christie.
