The word of Socrates is both "enchantress", "editor" and "generating". The good word is the one that leads to virtue, in its connection with the truth. Through reading Charmides 155e2-157c6, the author exposes the particular characterization of the Socratic dialogue as a drug or as the practice pursued by Socrates doctor induces the other party to a transformation of the style of life.
