Abstract / Description of output

A research based arts project examining contemporary scottish culture and its fractured relationship with the past through an exploration of outsider artist Angus McPhee grass weaving artefacts. This work provides a bridge between past and present allowing focused access into hebridean culture generally and exploring new links between outsider art and contemporary art practices.
