Abstract
We have measured redshifts (0.2 < z < 3) for 14 radio source identifications from the Parkes Selected Regions sample and from other complete radio samples defined at 2.7 GHz. One further identification has been found to be a featureless BL Lac object for which no redshift can be determined. Using these data, we discuss the relationship between the strength of [O II]lambda-3727 emission and radio luminosity for narrow-line radio galaxies.
