Abstract
A study of the šµ+āš¾0Sā¢š¾+ā¢š¾āā¢š+ and šµ+āš¾0Sā¢š¾+ā¢š¾+ā¢šā decays is performed using proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV at the LHCb experiment. The š¾0
Sā¢š¾ā¢š invariant mass spectra from both decay modes reveal a rich content of charmonium resonances. New precise measurements of the šš and ššā”(2ā¢š) resonance parameters are performed and branching fraction measurements are obtained for šµ+ decays to šš, š½/š, ššā”(2ā¢š) and ššā¢1 resonances. In particular, the first observation and branching fraction measurement of šµ+āššā¢0ā¢š¾0ā¢š+ is reported as well as first measurements of the šµ+āš¾0ā¢š¾+ā¢š¾āā¢š+ and šµ+āš¾0ā¢š¾+ā¢š¾+ā¢šā branching fractions. Dalitz plot analyses of ššāš¾0
Sā¢š¾ā¢š and ššā”(2ā¢š)āš¾0Sā¢š¾ā¢š decays are performed. A new measurement of the amplitude and phase of the š¾ā¢š š-wave as functions of the š¾ā¢š mass is performed, together with measurements of the š¾*0ā”(1430), š¾*0ā”(1950) and š0ā”(1700) parameters. Finally, the branching fractions of ššā¢1 decays to š¾* resonances are also measured.
