Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

A personal reflection upon an academic career working on intellectual property since 1980 and the extent to which developments in the subject were - or were not - surprising at the time they took place. Main topics for discussion are copyright and technological development, especially computers and the Internet, and judicial development of the law both to pull in and expand the scope of intellectual property protection.
