Abstract
A single authored conference paper and published proceedings. Originality lies in research of building typologies that link concepts of 'soft' adaptability to sustainable metrics using innovative design outputs from realised buildings and pedagogic work. Significance lies in a substantive contribution to an evolving and innovative field that moves beyond purely quantitative metrics as a means to define value. Rigour lies in peer review of the abstract & final paper with presentation of the work at conference. An included case study was also subject to a peer review in winning a single stage design competition.
