Abstract / Description of output

The Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 1993 made far-reaching changes to the law of personal insolvency in Scotland. This text examines these changes in detail, including procedures affecting Trust deeds and rights of trustees to petition sequestration, the system of summary administration, the fact that the accountant in small bankruptcy becomes Trustee in many "small assets" cases, and other amendments to existing law. This text is reprinted from "Current Law Statutes" with an expanded index prepared by Professor McBryde.
