Abstract
The Experimenters is an installation of 60 photographs and 12 objects that explore themes of discovery and invention.
The exhibition centres on photographic images of fabricated miniature workshops in which various discoveries and experiments are occurring. These mock-ups are constructed from various found materials with the idea that large-scale ambitious concepts can be played out with slender means.
The installation forms part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival and echoes themes taking place within the interactive events.
