Abstract

This paper reviews the work on manipulating growth in mice and pigs by gene transfer of constructs encoding for growth hormone, growth hormone releasing factor and insulin-like growth factor I, and on experiments with transgenic mice, rabbits and sheep to produce pharmaceuticals in milk.
