The Happy Hypocriteis a semi-annual, interdisciplinary publication, edited by Maria Fusco, with an international editorial advisory board.

The Happy Hypocrite has built a new constituency for contemporary art writing, by providing a greatly needed international forum for new writing and research-based text projects. Artists, writers and theorists collaborate in each publication to express experimental ideas that might not otherwise be realised.

Informed by a lineage of modern experimental and avant-garde magazines such as:Bananas, Documents, The Fox, Merlin and Tracks,The Happy Hypocrite is published by Book Works (London), commissioning fifteen new works per issue, drawn from open submission and invited work, and themed around a distinct writing methodology.

Please note, included in this submission are issues 1-6, each has an ISSN and a separate ISBN, as outlined below.
