Summary:
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought into sharp focus the inequalities affecting children and families
in Glasgow’s high poverty neighbourhoods, and how these have been heightened by the crisis.
Children’s Neighbourhoods Scotland (CNS) conducted new research on the perspectives of service
providers in the third sector and public sector, including frontline professionals working in local
neighbourhoods and managers working at a strategic level across the city. The findings provide
insights into the impacts of COVID-19 on children and families and how services have collaborated
across sectors to respond to the urgent needs of communities and families during the pandemic.
