Abstract

The T analysing power has been measured at 0 degrees for the H(Li,d)Li reaction leading to the ground and first excited states in Li. The data have been analysed in terms of a simple cluster model of Li. The T value for the ground-state transition is well described assuming a Li+n cluster structure for Li where the Li core acts as a spectator and no nucleon spin flip takes place.
