Abstract / Description of output

Nanoporous materials such as zeolites and carbon molecular sieves are widely used in industrial catalysis, separations, and purifications. In addition, discovery of new classes of nanoporous materials is currently a very active area of research. This short review focuses on fundamental aspects of diffusion in novel materials and on how a molecular-level understanding of diffusion is important to the development of new applications of traditional zeolites.
