Abstract / Description of output

A review of the doctrines of adultery, impotence and breach of promise in Scots law, from the Reformation onward, to examine the law's treatment of consensual physical intimacy in civil law, and to explore the extent to which women were - and are - prejudiced by heteronormative and phallocentric standards in law.
