Included in an edited volume that examines the work of Polish artist Zofia Kulik, the chapter (c. 8,000 words) examines the artist's turn to archives and object/image-based work by situating it in contemporary debates on artistic labour and the promise of art to function as a site of de-alienation. The article focuses on how gendered values can help locate Kulik's choices as an artist following the end of the KwieKulik partnership.
