For the past five years a team of craft experts have been processing more than 270 references about the value of craft in our world today. The goal has been to produce a comprehensive picture of the contribution craft makes to our practical, symbolic and ethical values. This process of "knowledge weaving" uses new information technologies to produce a complex web of claims for the value of craft
