Abstract
This blog post addresses the political context and recent developments in relations to transitional justice in Burundi, including the withdrawal from the International Criminal Court (ICC). It aims to place these developments in the context of the national and international political battles in play, and underlines the crucial need to refocus the debate on the implications for Burundians.
