Abstract
The paper compiles and reviews available data on kinship terminologies in the languages of the Tuu (formerly: Southern Khoisan) family with the aim of analyzing them from a historical perspective. It focuses on the fundamental differences between the kinship terminology of the Taa and those of other Tuu languages.
