Abstract

The structures of two new high nuclearity co-ordination complexes have been determined, a decanuclear cobalt species and an undecanuclear nickel species; the two compounds extend a series of structures based on tricapped-centred-trigonal prisms in displaying respectively no additional capping metal atoms and one capped and one 'semi-capped' face.
