US environmental politics under Trump: Domestic and global implications

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

This piece examines Trump Administration’s impact on both domestic and global environmental and climate protection. It analyses the sources and results of executive zeal to roll back, deregulate and defund core environmental protection. It argues that despite Trump’s damaging efforts his Administration has been unable to undermine environmental action and concern from other quarters; indeed such action and engagement is increasing across several dimensions and at several levels of governance.
