Abstract / Description of output
Virginia Woolf (1882-1941) has published numerous novels, short stories, essays, diaries and letters, all demonstrating her desire to write a new kind of fiction. This article presents Woolf, her vision of literature, what she thought of translation and finishes with a short discussion of the French translations of To The Lighthouse (1927).
