Abstract

Outcomes from residency at Royal Brompton Hospital to produce artwork for the new diagnostic centre there. The process culminated in a window mural for the entrance of the building and cubicle curtains used throughout the centre.

The designs are the result of wide ranging research where I considered Biophilia, the local environment and various imaging technologies used in the centre.
As part of this process I used the medical scanning devices to produce imagery of organic materials found in the surrounding area.
