Woods etc. follows Jonathan Gibbs's illustrations for Dart, by Alice Oswald, published in 2010. (senior designer: Miriam Rosenbloom, Faber and Faber)

The concept for this broadsheet illustration is based upon fragmented and abstracted elements of nature, all of which are graphically arranged around the typographic design.

Colours used in the final image reflect moods of autumn and winter.
