Biography

Catriona is a medical statistician at the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) within the Usher Institute.

This role includes responsibility for the statistical aspects of clinical trial design, grant applications, final trial reporting and subsequent publications. 

Alongside this role, Catriona sits on the CSO Translational Clinical Studies Research Committee, is an independent statistician on several Data Monitoring Committees and is statistical editor for the Cochrane Vascular Group. 

Prior to this, Catriona worked as a Phase I and Phase III clinical trials statistician in industry and as a statistical consultant in the commercial healthcare sector.
