Current Research Interests

My primary research interest is exploring the role of 'community' in low-carbon transitions, including:

- interactions between grassroots organisations and governments in implementing sustainable development policy;

- social impacts of community-owned renewable energy projects;

- local politics of grassroots climate change initiatives;

- the role of the citizen in low-carbon transitions.
