Biography

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (R(D)SVS) in 2011.  Since graduating I undertook a one year equine and large animal Junior Clinical Training Scholarship at the Queens Veterinary School Hospital, at Cambridge University.  After completion, I successfully sat the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam (NAVLE).  I returned to the R(D)SVS in 2012, as a clinical anaesthetist.  During my time at the R(D)SVS I have been trained in Western Veterinary Acupuncture, including electroacupuncture.

In 2015 I started my residency for the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA) at Edinburgh University, and completed my training in Februrary 2018.
