Background

I joined the Business School as a lecturer in Marketing in 2020. I began my academic career at the University of Stirling where I was a lecturer for 4 years before moving to the United States where I was an associate faculty member at Northeastern Unviersity in Boston.

Research Interests

My research is grouped around two key themes: food & wellbeing and healthcare & services marketing. I am passionate about understanding people and the drivers of our decision behaviour. I typically use psychology theories and mixed methods to investigate various phenomena. Current projects look at encoding expertise in the online food blogging environment and the role of political ideology in understanding consumer choices around meat.
