Computer Architecture and Computer Systems: processor architecture/microarchitecture, interconnection networks, memory systems, parallel and distributed computing, heterogeneous systems/architectures, compilers, and hw/sw co-design.

Biography

José Cano Reyes received the MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Valencia (Spain) in 2004 and 2012, respectively. He was a member with the Networking Research Group (2005 - 2012) and also with the Parallel Architectures Group (2009 - 2012) in the Department of Computing Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de València. He joined the ARCO Research Group in the Department of Computer Architecture at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain) in March 2012, where he was a postdoctoral researcher until December 2013. Currently, he is a postdoctoral research associate with the CArD group at the Institute for Computing Systems Architecture in the School of Informatics at The University of Edinburgh (UK).
