Biography

I joined Edinburgh Medical School in 2011 as a Fellow in Medical Ethics. My background is in medicine, philosophy/history and anthropology. After brief initial training in child psychiatry in Prague I taught medical ethics and philosophy of medicine at Charles University in Prague and Boston University. In Edinburgh I am responsible for ethics teaching in the MBChB and Biomedical sciences programmes.
