My research goal is to develop technology that helps people with long-term conditions live rich, meaningful lives and that enables people to use the information in their personal data to support their own health, wellbeing and identity. I'm particularly interested in making technology accessible to people with visible and invisible impairments.
I teach Design Informatics, HCI, and Human Factors and eHealth and supervise MSc dissertations in (Design) Informatics, Psychology, Linguistics, and Speech Technology.
