Cochrane Vascular: facilitating production of Cochrane systematic reviews on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of peripheral arterial disease (including intermittent claudication and chronic limb threatening ischaemia), venous disease (including venous thromboembolism and varicose veins) and abdominal aortic aneurysm

Aspirin for Asymptomatic Aterosclerosis (AAA) Trial: large scale randomised controlled trial of aspirin in asymptomatic subjects with a low ankle brachial index. The effect of treatment on the development of clinical cardiovascular disease is investigated, as is the effect on overall mortality. In addition the effect of aspirin on age-associated congitive decline is investigated (PIs G Fowkes, J Price)
