My research in a nutshell

I use bioanalytical innovations to develop methods for small molecule analysis using chromatography and mass spectrometry. With particular expertise in quantitative steroid analysis, including glucocorticoids, estrogens and androgens in human and pre-clinical settings. Investigations into other small molecules including drugs, other lipid like molecules and metabolites of endogenous and exogenous molecules are also part of my research. I run the Mass Spectrometry Core, part of the Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility.
