Small Animal Internal Medicine


Nick graduated from the R(D)SVS in 1997. He worked first in mixed practice in Kings Lynn, Norfolk followed by five years in a small animal hospital practice in Kirkcaldy, Fife.

In 2004, he returned to the University of Edinburgh to become a Senior Clinical Scholar in Internal Medicine. This residency lead to Nick gaining both the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Diploma in Small Animal Medicine and the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2009.

Nick is currently a Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Medicine at R(D)SVS, and is a European Specialist in Veterinary Internal Medicine. Nick loves all aspects of canine and feline internal medicine clinical work. His research interests are particularly focussed on nephrology and urology.
