Richard Parker is currently Senior Statistician at the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit, Usher Institute of Population Health Sciences and Informatics. He previously worked for 5 years as a Research Assistant (Medical Statistician) at the Institute of Public Health, University of Cambridge; before moving up to Edinburgh in 2013 to work in ECTU.

Research Interests

I am interested in all areas of medical statistics; but I have a particular interest in computer intensive statistical methods (e.g. permutation tests, bootstrap methods), diagnostic studies, studies of agreement, multiple testing, statistical modelling, pilot/feasibility studies, and clinical trial design.
