My current research focuses on applications of statistical methodologies to problems in Systems Biology and Bioinformatics.

Biography

Dr Tom Thorn received a BA in Computer Science from Kings College, University of Cambridge in 2004 and subsequently an MSc in Bioinformatics (distinction) at Imperial College London in 2005.  He then completed a Wellcome Trust funded PhD in the Theoretical Systems Biology group at Imperial College in 2009.  In 2013 he was appointed as a Chancellor's Fellow at the School of Informatics in the University of Edinburgh.  He is currently a co-supervisor of two PhD students.
