Research Interests

My interests lie at the centre of land use, natural resource management, land management, and human-environment interactions. I enjoy particularly working at the science-policy interface.

My research involves using simulation models of natural and human systems (e.g. agent-based or individual-based models), GIS, statistical analysis, and social and ecological survey techniques to evaluate the effects of environmental (e.g. climatic), socio-economic and policy change on the provision of ecosystem services, human well-being, and sustainable livelihoods.
