Late Medieval, Early Modern and Modern South Asian art. Art and visual culture of early modern South Asia 1500-1900. Selected topics in early and medieval Indian art (students are advised to discuss project scope in advance to ensure their area of interest is supported). Cross-cultural exchanges in art and material culture. Artistic connections in the long eighteenth century.
