My research in a nutshell

Zayba is a Research Associate on the Move2Learn project at the Centre for Digital Education.

I completed my PhD in Developmental Psychology at University College London. My main research interests include cognitive development of young children’s scientific understanding, the role of executive functions and other domain-general capabilities on conceptual progression, naïve theories of learning, and how developing language can influence scientific understanding.

Currently, I am working on an internationally collaborative project on science learning project, called Move2Learn. I am investigating the role of embodied cognition and immersive technologies on science learning within museum contexts.
